David Dunn appeared on season two of The Voice and is a contemporary
Christian artist currently signed to BEC recordings. Known for "I Wanna Go
Back" and "Today is Beautiful", Dunn released "Perspectives" , an album that
doesn't just hit the surface. This record digs deep into the heart. Dunn doesn't
shy away from discussing hard topics in his music.
"Perspectives" talks about how we see things differently from God
sometimes even though we don't like to admit it. But, we have to remember
that God is our only hope and that we should rely/trust on our heavenly
"Arrow" starts off with a slow melodic instrumental part and quickly speeds
up. This track talks about seeking out God's truth and asking for his point of views. Looking for answers and being confused in this world are all points in this song that Dunn brings up quite brilliantly.
"Church" has a video game sounding entrance bringing in Dunn's full and big vocals. This track comes at the perfect time. Dunn states that the church is not only a building, it's us. For more on this subject, click here.
"Anxiety" features Aaron Cole and has an upbeat and EDM style. "I lean to God cause He the only one that can help me heal" is an incredible lyric because of the truth it holds. This song hits some hard notes with the pain that Dunn and Cole talk about, but it's real, vulnerable, and honest.
Fans of piano music and slower songs as well as fans of rap/upbeat music will like this album. There are aspects of both and is a very diverse album.
"Perspectives" available on all major platforms now.
Jamie Grace is a Christian singer/songwriter/actress/author and many more things. Her songs always paint a picture in a beautiful way. She is known for songs such as You Lead, Hold Me (feat. Tobymac), Show Jesus, and Party Like A Princess.
"Wonderful" reminds us that God sees past all of our stupid mistakes and loves us anyway. The last verse gives the most powerful reminder that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and paid the ultimate sacrifice. That has become a generalized thought in Christian culture and now gives off the impression of complacency. Grace wrote this simple lyrics because of how true it is. God is wonderful and He sees our wonderful parts because He created us. Stream on Spotify, Youtube, or purchase at any major digital platform.

The song features Andrew Holt and was written by Holt, along with Henry Seeley and Daniella Mason. Recorded live at their Nashville campus, this track offers hope in the midst of dark times as well as being a reflection of God's movement.
“I don’t think it’s a coincidence that God has been stirring songs in His people about His unchanging nature,” says Seeley. “It’s easy to get caught up in the craziness of everything that is happening in the world right now and lose sight of the fact that our God is THE SAME—yesterday, today and forever! Situations change, but He NEVER changes! All of Heaven has been singing the same song, ‘holy, holy, holy,” because He’s the same God! I pray this song would help us lift our eyes from the chaos around us and fix our hearts once again on the faithfulness of God.”
The Belonging Co has released two full length albums including, All The Earth (2017) and Awe and Wonder (2019). They have featured many artists on their songs including Cody Carnes, Kari Jobe, Natalie Grant, and many more.

Judah Band is a band growing in popularity and has a very eclectic style of music that always leaves you in a better mood after listening.
Influenced by Michael Jackson, Fred Hammond, and James Brown, Judah Band is an eclectic group of talented musicians founded by lead singer and producer, Randy Weston. I recently got the opportunity to talk with Randy Weston and hear about the story of Judah Band. Weston is a cancer survivor and wants to implement change in the world.
M: Judah has major significance in the Bible and the name Judah Band is really cool….why did Judah stick out to you when picking a name?
RW: We are a praise band. I like to think of us as being on the front line of praise and the front line of spiritual war. That’s why Judah came to mind.
M: What got you all into the Christian music business to start?
RW: I’ve always been a musician, even when I was a teacher. I was a “Pew baby” ;born into the church and music’s always been a part of my life. I didn’t really choose it, it chose me. I inherited this.
M: All of your videos have a story before the song. It’s something different that not a lot of bands do anymore and really cool! Why did you guys decide to add that feature in?
RW: I love directing the videos and I’m inspired by a lot of geniuses.
Watching Michael Jackson inspired me, he made it more than a song and that’s what I want, and a practical application of the song and to see the visual of the song.
M: What can fans expect from your future music in terms of stylistically/vocally/lyrically?
RW: We just released Hush the EP. It’s got every genre you can probably think of. Country, it’s got country...that’s one of my favorite genres. This EP has country, pop, almost folky sound...even a little bit of classical. It's goulash! It's fun, we want you to feel uplifted and having a good time.
M: How has surviving cancer changed your outlook on life and affected your music?
RW: It changed everything for me.
Battling through those times, God had to recalibrate my life. When you can’t move around, you have a lot of time to think. God showed me who I was. I didn’t even know that I was more career driven than ministry driven. What He gave me changed me….He had to re calibrate me..I had a peace I had never had before. I learned that every song I sing and every song that I write, I have an assignment. No matter what that assignment is, I know that it’ll be okay and I care what God thinks of me, not what the world thinks. I've got peace in that time and showed me what God thought of me.
M: Your style of music is described as a melting pot and eclectic...how would you describe your band's musical style in one word?
M: Tell Me Your story...anything you want to say that you would like my readers to know about you and the band!
RW: Judah band is for all people. Christians and non christians. The songs are daily inspirations and even if it’s a sound that you aren't necessarily accustomed to give it a try and I think you'll eventually find something that you love because it’s for all people.

Yesterday, I asked about songs and you answered!! Feel free to continue to comment on that post if you haven't already, but this one has to do with that last post as well! It's time for you to comment your favorite movie and why! I know it's a hard decision because of so many movies out there, but pick one and tell me why you like it so much! Not only will this help me with a cool project I'm working on, it also gives me movies to watch over this unexpected time off! Once you comment, I challenge you to tag someone else to do it and watch the movie that the person before you commented! Have fun and thanks for participating!! My comment will be posted momentarily!
Hey everyone! I want to know what your favorite song is right now and why! What song speaks to you in your life right now to help you in your daily life? Just comment on this post with the name of the song, the artist, and the reason behind why it's your anthem! I want to take the responses and talk about those songs in future posts and even feature your comment in an upcoming post! If you don't want to post publicly, feel free to email your response to firstname.lastname@example.org! My anthem right now is "Dream Small" by Josh Wilson. A really good friend sent me the song recently and it speaks to me where I am at in life right now. My favorite line of the song says "of course there's nothing wrong with bigger dreams, just don't miss the minutes on your way to bigger things. These simple moments change the world." That line is important to me because I have all these big dreams and sometimes forget that it takes little steps to get to that point. I can't be so focused on the future that I miss the here and now. God knows what is going to happen and I have to trust that He knows what's best. I want to live my life like there's no tomorrow and show Jesus in every aspect of my life. Thank you so much for taking time to do this and I can't wait to see your responses!
Big weekend in Christian music this weekend! The following artists are all releasing music this friday! Stay tuned for more information!

Danny Gokey, formerly on American Idol, and known for songs such as Tell Your Heart To Beat Again, Haven't Seen It Yet, Hope in Front of Me, and many more has released a new track amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Gokey started a challenge a few days ago entitled the "Wash Yo Hands" challenge to go along with his new single, Wash Yo Hands. This challenge is in the form of a music video where you wash your hands, turn your head to cough, and clean your space, but as a dance.
His music video has vibes similar to that of a '90s PSA video, starting out in a classroom and Gokey walking in to start the song. Check out the video below and don't forget to Wash yo hands!
