Tauren Wells used to be the frontman for the band Royal Tailor before they disbanded. He now has a solo career and is doing pretty well. One of his most popular songs is titled Hills and Valleys. Another song on his debut solo album is called God's Not Done With You. The whole song is talking about you are not finished and God always has a plan for you while He has you on this earth. This song does a very good job of using musical and lyrical aspects to portray this message in this song. There is a verse in the bible where Wells got his inspiration from. That verse is Philippians 1:6 which states "Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." That verse says that until Jesus comes back to Earth, He will continue to work on us and through us. There is always something else that God has for us and the experiences that we go through is how He shapes our lives. A part of the song says "Standing in your ruins, feels a lot like the end, so used to losing, you're afraid to try again. Right now all you see are ashes, where there was a flame, truth is that you're not forgotten, 'cause grace knows your name. God's not done with you, even with your broken heart and your wounds and your scars. God's not done with you, even when you're lost and it's hard and you've fallen apart." This is saying that when you feel like you're all alone and there isn't anything else for you, just remember that God is still working in your life and shaping you to be the person that He wants you to be. Never forget that God is not done with you.
