You know what happens all of the time that we don't even think about until it comes down to crunch time? Distractions. We get distracted so much of the time by things that don't even really matter in the grand scheme of things. I think that a lot of times we let our relationship and walk with the Lord get distracted by tiny little things that aren't necessarily bad but when we do those things over reading our bible or spending time with God, that's when they become bad. Starting right now, let's commit to not letting ourselves get distracted so much with the little things so that we don't miss out on good friendships, relationships, and especially our walk with God. The song "I Will Follow" by Chris Tomlin is a great reminder of this. If we commit to follow, serve, and love with the example that Christ set for us then our entire lives will be revolutionized. The song says the following "Where you go, I'll go. Where you stay, I'll Stay. Where you move, I'll move. I will follow you." If we choose to live out those words every single day of our lives, every breath that is given by Him and we get rid of distractions from that, we can have lives that are radically changed. I am so thankful for an amazing God that sent His son to die for us when we don't deserve all that he does for us. I truly hope that when you listen to this song, you are reminded to follow Him every day and to not get caught up in the distractions and the snares of this world. Check out the inspiring song!
