Unspoken is a christian band with members Chad Mattson, Jon Lowry, Ariel Munoz, Mike Gomez, and Don Eanes. Their debut album, self titled Unspoken, was at the top of many Christian charts. They exploded onto the Christian music scene with their first album. Recently released was their sophomore album, Follow Through. After that came their new single Just Give Me Jesus. This song is so powerful and honest. In a story behind the song video, Chad Mattson said the following "We've all felt discontentment in our lives. Nothing we have is ever enough. Over the past years I've really felt that in my life I've been chasing after the things God can do for me and what I can do for Him. I felt more like His employee than His son and I'm realizing that what changed my life 15 years ago is still what I'm longing for today. That's Jesus." To me I feel like Mattson is saying that when we are looking for the ultimate purpose in life, which is to know Jesus, and we accept Him as our Savior and our lives radically change for the better, no matter the amount of time that passes, He will still be the only thing that can satisfy us and give us complete joy. In less words Mattson is saying, Just Give Me Jesus...those are some powerful words that mean a lot to me and I hope they do to you as well! The chorus to the song says this "Just give me Jesus. There's nothing I desire that can't be found in You, You're everything that I've ever needed, Just give me Jesus." Here the song is saying that anything and everything that we want should be Jesus. We shouldn't want anything else and we don't need anything else, because Jesus provides if we let Him into our hearts. I hope that this song speaks to you in some way and I pray that you know Jesus!
